Made Group Partnership

Dave has worked with Made Group since 2018, beginning with the construction of their state-of-the-art, purpose-built 15,500 sqm manufacturing facility in Dandenong South.

The in-house–designed project, which exceeded 30,000 man-hours during its main construction phase, presented significant technical challenges. Working closely with the Made team, Dave contributed to the design and development of the process rooms and piping layouts, overseeing their construction to the highest standards.

As Made Group has expanded internationally — with brands now operating in New Zealand and a newly built facility in Thailand — so too has the partnership. At the Dandenong site, Dave and the Walls Engineering Services team continue to deliver all mechanical works supporting the company's ongoing growth.

This collaboration has included the relocation and installation of a full wet aseptic filling line from Brisbane to Dandenong, as well as the removal of a second complete line for shipment and installation at the Thailand plant — a complex, high-precision project successfully managed and delivered by Dave and his team.

Telstra Exchange - Lonsdale Street, Melbourne

This cooling system upgrade consisted of the fabrication & installation of carbon pipework onsite at the Telstra Exchange in Melbourne CBD. This project presented significant challenges due to restricted site access and the elevated work location on the upper floors of the building.

All pipe sections had to be fabricated in lengths no greater than 3.5 metres, requiring numerous on-site welds and precise coordination to maintain quality and efficiency under demanding conditions.

This project involved the fabrication and installation of 8-inch and 10-inch Schedule 10 stainless steel pipework, completed on-site in Anakie, Victoria. The works formed part of a critical process system upgrade, requiring close coordination with other trades and tight adherence to installation tolerances.

Challenging site conditions — including limited access and variable weather — tested our team's adaptability and technical skill. Through careful planning, on-site fabrication, and precision welding, the project was delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, meeting all client expectations.
